How to prepare your Online Mix

To achieve the best possible result, we need to receive your production tracks properly organised and ready for mixing. Please include a reference mix of your song and, if you wish, one or more commercial reference tracks that help us understand the sonic and aesthetic direction you are looking for.

Editing, tuning, timing corrections and arrangement decisions should be completed before sending the material.

• Send the files in WAV o AIFF, keeping the original sample rate and bit depth of the session. Avoid unnecessary conversions.
• All tracks must begin at exactly the same point in time, even if there is silence at the beginning, to ensure perfect synchronisation.
• If you have worked in Pro Tools, you can send us a complete copy of the session using Save Copy In, including all associated audio files.
• Files should be clearly named and organised..
• Avoid normalising, limiting or maximising the tracks before sending them, and make sure none of the files are clipping.
• If any processing —compression, saturation, distortion, modulation, etc.— is ssential to the sound of a track, keep it. Whenever possible, also send a clean version.
• For reverbs, delays and other effects that are important to the production, you may include the effect as a separate track or reference stem.
• Include a reference mix of your project exactly as you have been listening to it during production.
• Please provide the BPM and any relevant information about the structure, creative intention or elements that are especially important to the mix.
• We will send you a private upload link so you can send us the tracks or the complete session directly.

Before we begin, we will review the material and contact you if we identify anything that could affect the final result of the mix.
